Martha Armchair

The design of the Martha armchair combines two main frame elements made from moulded rigid polyurethane. The seat and armrests form a single, sinuous open profile that projects outwards. The curved backrest has soft padding and appears to float in the air, while a concealed system secures the backrest to the frame. The complete armchair rests on a triangular-section wooden easel structure. A slight seat inclination towards the backrest provides comfort and reinforces the armchair's dynamic design. The four-leg base is made from solid ash, available in wenge or mocha finishes. The Martha rocking armchair rests on a curved solid ash base in the same finishes.

Colour effects and material combinations highlight the smooth, light appearance of the Martha armchair. The outer frame is upholstered in high-quality Saddle Extra Leather, while the inner frame can be upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric. Elegant contrasting stitching, completed by hand, highlights the combination of the two materials. A soft seat cushion with a removable cover in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric completes the design.

The Martha chair is made from 100% FSC™-certified wood.
